ROSSVILLE Kenneth Mayhugh, 81, passed away on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 in a local hospital.Mr. Mayhugh was a native of St. Louis, Miss., but had spent most of his life in the north Georgia area. He was a self-employed surveyor, was a U.S. Army veteran, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Mayhugh, son, Todd Mayhugh, and sister, Faith Mayhugh.Survivors include his wife, Syble Nabors Mayhugh; children, Kenny Mayhugh, Atlanta, Ga., Tim Mayhugh, Houston, TX, and Tonya Scallions, Signal Mountain; step-children, Mickey and Kenny Parsons, both of Chattanooga, Cindy Nabors, Harrison, and Robert Nabors, Chickamauga; brothers, Dennis Mayhugh, and Dale Michaelis; sisters, Hope Bay and Nancy Otis; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchilden, one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held today, at 3 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Dwight Martin officiating.
