CHICKAMAUGA Gerald Dean Edwards, 69, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.Preceded in death by parents, Garth and Alice Mae Edwards; and brother, James Edwards.Survived by wife, Rebecca Edwards; daughters, JoAnn Edwards and fianc Daniel Jeffers, of Smyrna, Tenn., Bobbie and husband, Brian England, of LaFayette; granddaughters, Micaela, Lain, and Kate; grandsons, Gavin, Nicholas, and Tristan, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Saturday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m.Interment in the Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Sept. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
