Thomas Louis Bak, 65, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in a local hospital.He was born July 7, 1947 in Pittsfield, Mass., to the late William T. and Caroline Bak.Mr. Bak was a graduate of Pittsfield High School, Berkshire Community College and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.He was an avid golfer and fisherman who especially enjoyed bass fishing and fly-fishing.He was an account manager for Ahlstrom Filtration.Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Audrey Ann Bak; two sons, Thomas W. (Beth) Bak, of Chickamauga, Daniel A. (Jessica) Bak, of Lakeland, Ga.; one daughter, Jaime A. (Jonathan) Gibson, of Susterseel, Germany; mother-in-law, Shirley Hurst, of Knoxville; grandsons, Adam Jones, Alex Bak, Daniel Kirkland, Jaxon Gibson, Elihu Gibson, and Andrew Bak; granddaughters, Bailey Bak and Haylee Griffin; brothers-in-law, Robert Tindell and William Hurst; sister-in-law, Debbie Varnes; special cousins, Lorraine Mastroianni and Joannie Ruane, of Springfield, Mass.; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, with the Rev.
