Jerry Lovenn Cooley, 54, of Chattanooga was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in a local hospital.Mr. Cooley worked for the Chattanooga Housing Authority.He was preceded in death by mother, Gladys Stephens; father, YC Cooley; brother, Joe Askew.Survivors include wife, Sandra Cooley; son, Jerry L. Cooley Jr.; siblings, Minister Robert (Emma) Cooley, Willie Cooley, Chattanooga, James (Michelle) Cooley, California, JoNathan Holloway, Gary Stephens, Knoxville, Walter (Rose) Cooley, Alabama, and Thomas Cooley, Ohio, Mary Hayden, Rosemary Stephens and Gayla Suttles, Chattanooga; a host of other family (nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends). Special friend and companion Darlene Hale.Funeral: at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at New Zion M.B.
