TUNNEL HILL Laura Rose Lee Hughes, 73, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012.A resident of the Catoosa County area for the past 37 years, she was a former employee of Precision Wire and Engineering and attended Lakeway Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Hayden and Ophelia Dessie Smith Lee.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edmond "Ed" Hughes, of Tunnel Hill; children, Richard (Cathy) Hughes, of Dunlap, Tenn., Becky (Dennis) Ray, of Tunnel Hill and Connie Hill, of Tunnel Hill; six sisters; four brothers; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis Ray officiating.Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
