CHICKAMAUGA Randolph Dewayne Copeland, 70, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012.He was born in Fort Payne, Ala., and had resided in Chickamauga since 1960. He was a former employee of Chickamauga Telephone Company and Crystal Springs Mill in Chickamauga. He began work for Buckaneer Carpet Industry, which later became Galaxy Industries and at his retirement was known as MoHawk Industries. Dewayne was a hard worker and couldnt stay retired long, therefore he began working with Wilson Funeral Homes in 2003 and was a current employee. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Crawfish Spring Masonic Lodge FAM #300. He enjoyed fishing and had been a longtime NASCAR Fan until Dale Earnhardts death. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and his father, Randolph Wayne Copeland.He is survived by his mother, Edna Mae Tinsley Copeland, of Chickamauga; his sweetheart and wife, Mrs. Sadie Gore Copeland, of Chickamauga; their sons, Ricky (Carla) Copeland, of Montgomery, Ala., Danny Copeland, Deron Gore, both of Chickamauga; granddaughters, Salina and Sharissa Copeland, of Montgomery, Ala., and his beloved bulldawg, Cleo.The family will receive friends today prior to the service.Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. today Sept. 27, in the chapel with David L.
