Lou Emma WernerLou Emma Crox Werner, 84, of Ooltewah passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2012, after a lengthy illness.Mrs. Werner was born in Charleston, Tenn., on July 26, 1928. She graduated from Central High School in 1946 and continued to receive a B.S. in education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She belonged to Catoosa Educators Association and Georgia Retired Teachers' Association. She taught 31 years at Cloud Springs Elementary and substituted and volunteered for another 14 years. She was elected to "Whos Who Among Americas Teachers" for several years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben McClary Crox Sr. and Bessie Bryant Crox; and two brothers, Will Bryant Crox and Ben McClary Crox Jr.She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Dantzler Werner; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcetta and Nelson Wong, of Ooltewah, and Keena and Brian Masters, of Vero Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren and spouses, Dustin and Jessica Wong of Ooltewah, Travis and Kayla Wong, of Ringgold, Ga., and Rachel and Phillip Flores of Spring, TX; one great grand-child, Ansley Wong of Ringgold, GA; niece, Linda and Vernon Johnson of Ooltewah; nephew, Walter Lee and Barbara Crox, of Cleveland, TN. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Sept. 27 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev.
