LaFAYETTE Treava Genell Watkins, 57, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Hutcheson medical Center.She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, owner of Genell Beauty Shop and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Watkins Jr.; and daughter, Gerea Chantelle Ludy.Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Pastor Gregory (Lashea) Ludy, of LaFayette, Adrian (Chiquita) Ludy, of Dalton, Shawn Watkins, of LaFayette, Eddie Watkins; daughter, Lula Whittenberry, of Summerville; eight grandchildren; parents, John William (Mildred) Griffin; brother, John Henry Griffin, of LaFayette; sister, Yuvette (Chevette) Suttle, of Atlanta; uncles, Thomas "T.J." Ware, James (Letha) Ware, Elder Leonard Sheppard; aunts, Nella Bell, Betty Middlebrooks, Linda Lacks; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Celebration services for Mrs. Watkins will be at 2 p.m. today at Prospect Baptist Church with Elder G.M.
