Julia Fields

Julia "Feetsie" Reilly Fields, 53, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 after her valiant fight with cancer. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7. She was at home, embraced by her family at her side. Feetsie was born in Chattanooga on Sept. 1, 1960 to Jim and Mary Jane Reilly. She is a graduate of GPS and Rhodes College. She was a loving mother to her two kids and loving wife to her husband of 26 years. As a CPA, she started her career at Price Waterhouse in Atlanta. For the past sixteen years, she was the comptroller for Sherman and Reilly. If you had the honor of knowing Feetsie, you knew her extreme passion and love for fitness and the outdoors. She loved spending the weekends with her family at their lake cabin. Her commitment to helping others was most demonstrated by the years she spent volunteering her time at Saint Peters School and Church. She is survived by her two children, Mary Katherine and Compton; husband, Richard; parents Jim (Debbie) Reilly and Mary Jane Reilly; siblings, Peggy Patten, Jimmy (Nanci) Reilly , John (Carmelo) Reilly, Martha (Kevin) King and Steven (Elizabeth) Forester. Services are 11 a.m. Monday Dec. 16, at Saint Peters Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415 with The Rev. Dr. H. Hunter Huckabay, Jr. officiating. The committal service will follow immediately in Saint Peters Columbarium. Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
