Reginald Carter, Sr.
Reginald Nathanial Carter, Sr., 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 in a local hospital. He was a Chattanooga High School graduate and was a carpenter/handyman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Johnetta Carter; grandparents; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include son, Reginald Nathaniel Carter, Jr.; daughter, Taylor (TJ) Petraroi; granddaughter, Heidi Marie Petraroi, all of Blue Ridge, Ga.; sister, Cheryl (Arthur, Jr.) Wyckoff, of Rossville, Ga.; uncles, Mitchell Williams, of Chattanooga and William H. Reed, Jr.; aunts, Eva Ovworvie, Cleta Reed, both of Washington, DC, and Dorothy Harris, of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state on Monday Dec. 30, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Paul Baker as the eulogist.
