RINGGOLD A. Gentry Paul, 73, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.A lifelong resident of Dallas, Texas, he has been a resident of Ringgold for the past 11 years. He was the son of the late Milton Alvie and Eleanor Howard Paul and was owner and operator of Access Control & Service Co. in Dallas. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church; NORWEGA Camping Club; Outdoor Adventures and Over Mountain SAMS.Survivors include his wife, Gayle Paul; stepdaughter, Vickie Vance, Leipers Fork, Tenn.; stepson, Michael (Michelle) Vance, Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Reese Serene Fowler, Kyndra Hope Fowler, Zachary Michael Vance and Carter Edward Vance; two brothers, Milton Howard (Judy) Paul and Charles Buford (Lucy) Paul.A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Grace Episcopal Church with The Rev. Susan Butler, The Rev. Bradley Weeks, Deacon and Erik Broeren, M.Div officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society at or to your favorite charity.Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
