ROCK SPRING Robert Matthew Millican, 74, went to be with his Lord Sunday Jan. 27, 2013.Member and deacon of Center Grove Baptist Church for 40 years.Veteran of the U.S. Army.Employed by E.T. Barwick, for years, and retired from Shaw Industries.Preceded in death by his parents, Fred Millican Sr. and Ida King Millican; granddaughter Jewell Nicole Millican; two sisters; and four brothers.Survived by wife of 52 years, Dot Colbert Millican, Rock Spring; daughter, Carol Taylor, Rock Spring; sister, Louise Leos, Chicago; grandchildren, Jamal Millican, Christopher Lewis, Gerea Lewis; sister-in-law, Ruth and brother-in-law, John Lewis; sister-in-law, Mildred and brother-in-law, James Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Reba Colbert, Rock Spring and Leola Colbert, Ringgold; several nieces, nephews also survive.Funeral from Center Grove Baptist Church at 2 p.m. today. Conducted by the Rev. Chris Hulsey, Rev. David Brown and Rev.
