Harry E. Igou, 84, of Hixson went to be with the Lord Saturday July 13, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and sons. Harry was a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church for 55 years and was retired as Vice-President of Siskin Steel. Harry was an avid golfer who played with his friends at Valley Brook and Creeks Bend. Harry is the son of the late John and Hazel Igou and was preceded in death by his brother Ben Igou and his sister Imogene Logue.Survivors: Wife, Jessie Igou; Two sons, Mark (Ann) Igou, Glen Allen, Va., David (Mary) Igou, Rossville, Ga.; Six grandchildren, Caroline (William) McKinney, Greenville, S.C., Megan Tuttle, Vail, Colo., Tommy (Mandy) Igou, Chattanooga, Brittany Wilson, Atlanta, Ga., Trip Wilson, Chattanooga and Ashley (Michael) Wheeling, Roanoke, Va.; Two Great-grandchildren, Ellis Grant Wheeling and Henry Crum McKinney; Several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday July 17, in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Gossett and Ed English officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
