Ratus Clark Mosley, 94, of Red Bank died in a Red Bank hospital Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Ratus was born in Sequatchie County Nov. 15, 1918.He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmet and Della Overturf Mosley; brothers, Clyde, Burnice and Albert Mosley; sister, Cleo Boynton.Mr. Mosley was a member of Signal Mountain Church of Christ, Veteran of U.S. Coast Guard WW II, former member of American Legion, National Association Accountants, Lions Club, Downtown Sertoma Club and Big Brothers Association. He graduated from Sequatchie County High School, Wiley Business College and University of Chattanooga. He was also a member of 50 Plus Club.Ratus is survived by his wife, Betty Bramlett Mosley, Red Bank; sister, Clara Mae Foley, Dunlap; brother, Gordon Mosley, Signal Mountain; two stepsons, Eddie and Mike Keene, both of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. CDT Friday in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Brother Greg Nance officiating.Burial in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. CDT Thursday.Arrangements by Ewton Funeral Home, 6936 Highway 28, Dunlap, TN 37327.www.ewtonfuneralhome.com (423-949-2112).
