Mattie L. "Pat" Howard, 81, of Ooltewah, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013.My precious sweetheart has broken the surly bonds of Earths pain, sins and troubles to go and be with the Lord Jesus Christ forever. She was His faithful servant till death and has gone to receive the crown of life He promised. She shared her life, love and faith with me for 16 years.Left to remember her with love is her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Howard; son, David Clark; daughters, Deborah Wheeler, Cathy Hoback and Cindy Clark; grandchildren, Candace Clark Gilbert, Lara Beth Wheeler, Christopher Hoback and Johnathan Hoback; great-granddaughter, Natalie Hoback; nephew, Charles Kerby; niece, Emily Kerby; and brothers, Mason, Eugene and Paul Quarles. The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today, June 20, and from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 21, in Ringgold Church of Christ.
