Kennard Anthony Douglas Sr. peacefully departed this life at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.He was preceded in death by his parents, the late John and Leonie Dejan Douglas; his brothers, Nils and John W.; and eldest son, Kennard Jr.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Stella Hinds Douglas; daughter, Annette (John Sr.) Adams; son, Dwight (Sharell) Douglas Sr.; daughter-in-law, Paulette (the late Kennard Jr.); three sisters, Jean Minor (the late Joseph), Lynette (Earl) Saulet, Lyalice (Junius) Robinson; sisters-in-law, Bessie Jeffrion Douglas, Brunetta Douglas; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Paulette (Brandon), John Jr. (Tiffany), Gentry, Jarrod, Dwight Jr., Alexia; one great-grandson; Elijah; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at noon on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church located at 505 S. Moore Road, Chattanooga, TN 37412.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Michael J.
