Neil Harry Sutfin, 95, of Signal Mountain, died Friday, March 8, 2013 in a local health care facility.Mr. Sutfin was born in Dansville, N.Y., and had lived in Chattanooga most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the the Army in the U.S. 6th Cavalry. Mr. Sutfin was retired from TVA and was a member of the Carpenter's Local # 74 and Timesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Marie Sutfin and was a son of the late, Harry and Lillian Call Sutfin.Suvivors include his son, Les Sutfin, Signal Mountain; two daughters, Julie Sutfin, Signal Mountain, Carol (Charles Bracewell, Orlando, Fla.; granddaughter, Chrissy (Tyler) Owens, seven great grandchildren, Melissa, Rebecca, Sam, Michael, Ben, Andrew and Will.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Milligan officiating.
