PALMER Mrs. Shirley F. Green, 71, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her home. She was born Oct. 6, 1941 to Joe and Clara Griffith Ashburn who preceded her in death along with her husband, William "Red" Green; brother, Everett Ashburn. She is survived by her son, Allen (Debra) Green; daughters, Lynn (Grady) Davis and Missy Green Powell; grandchildren, Bobby Dan Green, Brandy Franklin, Jacob Green and Krista Powell; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Adams, Ninnie "Tuffy" Morrison, Jackie Pickett, Barbara Stephenson and Jane Rankin. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the funeral home chapel with Tyler McCullough officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
