BUCHANAN Mary Copeland Porter, 63, formerly of Rockmart, Ga., passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013.Mrs. Porter was born on Sept. 22, 1949 in Polk County, daughter of the late Bill Copeland and the late Irma Dean Copeland. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Rockmart.Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Don Porter.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Amy Tomlin, of Dallas, Ga. and Jason and Kim Tomlin, of Rockmart, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Phyllis Copeland, of Ringgold, Ga.; four grandchildren, Lacie Tomlin and Nic Tomlin, of Rockmart and Emily Tomlin and Bailey Tomlin, of Dallas.Funeral graveside and interment services for Mrs. Porter will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, in the family lot of Rose Hill Cemetery with Dr. Greg Thompson officiating.The family will receive friends at the funeral home between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.Please visit www.freemanharrisfunerals.com to extend your personal condolences to the family by signing the online guestbook.Freeman Harris Funeral Home of Rockmart, is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mary Copeland Porter.
