Irene Waugh, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013.She moved to Chattanooga in 1947, and was a well known seamstress in the area, working for Miller Brothers and running her own drapery business until 1998. She was also a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, and American Gold Star Mothers Chattanooga Chapter.She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Waugh; son, Ronnel Waugh; parents, Joe C. and Eula Reed, brothers; Lon A. Reed, Junior Reed; sisters, Pauline Belew and Nellie Seagraves.She is survived by a sister, Mable Roark; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike McGinnis officiating.
