Jr.Edward Lewis "Teddy" Lawrence Jr. peacefully slipped into his heavenly resting place at his home on Monday, March 11, 2013.He was proud graduate of Howard High School where he was a saxophone player with the famous "Howard Marching 100". After graduation he met and fell in love with his wife Jennifer. They have shared together a life of 25 years.He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Lookout Mountain First Baptist Church. He later joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with his family. He was employed by Meuller Co. and formerly GE.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Georgia Lawrence Sr., Breamon Banks; and father, Edward Lawrence Sr.He leaves to cherish and celebrate his legacy, his wife Jennifer; four children, Ryan, Michael, Teddarious and Jayla; parents, Carolyn Banks Lawrence and Tony and Sharon Ross; one sister, Amanda (Brad); two brothers, Patrick (Jessica) and Andrew Lawrence; two sisters-in-law, Sonja (Albert) Gibson and Yolanda Ross; five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As well extended family, The Hutcheson family and Davenport family of Lookout Mountain.Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating.Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 78 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
