ROSSVILLE William "Bill" Raymond Mullens, 76, departed this life Tuesday, March 12, 2013.He was born in Rossville, to the late Joseph and Mary Mullens and was of the Baptist Faith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Velma S. Mullens; son, Michael Mullens; three brothers; and two sisters.Survivors include his daughter, Venice Kendrick, of Chickamauga; son, Stanley Mullen,s of Rossville; daughter-in-law, Donna Mullens, of Chickamauga; sisters, Lucille Pennington, of Florida, Frances Smith; brother, Boyd Mullens, both of Rossville; grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick", Connor, Corey; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 in the chapel with Rev. Dwight Deal officiating.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens-South.Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today, and from 1 until 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Stroke Association at www.strokeassociation.org or National Stroke Association at www.stroke.org Arrangements are by W.L.
