Lutricia Madison Wade, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, on her 65th birthday.Lutricia, the youngest of eight children, was born in Bakersfield, Calif., to the late Lizzie Juanita Lawson and Paul Lawson Sr. She lived for several years in Oceanside, Calif., and worked at ACDC Electronics as a unit lead. After moving to Chattanooga, Lutricia worked for TVA and retired after 20 years of service. She loved the Lord and taught her children to believe and trust in him. Over her 20-year membership at Church of the First Born, she was the church secretary, assistant administrator, Awana teacher and initiated the Womens Bible Study.She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Jr., Jerome and Gene Lawson; and sisters, Lula Meadows and Pauline Mann.Survivors include her children, Elishia (Tony) Madison-Dunson and David (Vanessa) L. Madison, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Toni Lynn Dunson, Alexis Madison, Tony Dunson Jr., Kristopher David Madison, Karrysa Madison and Jenika Mincey; goddaughter, Amyus Evans; sisters, Juanita Daniel and Joyce Lawson, both of California; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Rita and Sam Mason, Rose Caldwell, Linda Bradley, Joan Youngblood, and Arnetta Jones; work family included Dorothy Garrett, Evelyn Shropshire, Kathy Frost, and Debra Wheeler.A special thanks to her church family, work family, family at Summit View Assisted Living, Robin Waller and the Red Bank Dialysis Center, Dr. Dill and staff, and Dr. Sioben Duff and staff.Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of the First Born with Pastor Alfred Johnson as the eulogist.Burial in Fairhaven Cemetery in Santa Ana, Calif.
