Ronald "Ron" Roy McDonald passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Cotter, Ark., at the age of 68.He was born May 10, 1945, in Little Rock, Ark., the son of Roy and Guindolyn Wood McDonald. He served as president and vice-chairman of Republic Parking Systems. Ron retired to Cotter from Chattanooga, in 2008. He attended East Side Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf, hunting, shooting, and spending time with friends. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren on whom he doted.Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Ray McDonald, of Cotter; two daughters, Karen (Cliff) Vaughn, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Kristy (Bennett) Grimm of Atlanta; three sons, Kevin (Julie) McDonald of Craig, Ark., Tom (Galena) Morrow, of Bentonville, Ark., and Mark Morrow of Benton, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Kylie, Cassidy, Georgia, Fiona, Ryan, Scott, Ashlyn, Natalie, and Kristen; sister, Bobbie (Doyle) Bennett, of Dewitt, Ark.; and brother, John (Sara) McDonald, of Hot Springs, Ark.He was preceded in death by his parents.Memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church Childrens Fund, 718 East Ninth St., Mountain Home, AR 72653, or Tennessee Wildlife Federation, 300 Orlando Ave., Nashville, TN 37209.Visit an online obituary and guestbook at www.kirbyandfamily.com.A Celebration of Life for will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at East Side Baptist Church, with Darrell DeBoard officiating.
