LBrone Flippin Sr.LBrone Wade "Pee-Wee" Flippin Sr., 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in the Hospice Care Center.He was a 1974 graduate of Howard High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was affiliated with Bibleway Church but grew up in Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he became a licensed minister in 1999 under Rev. William H. Ryan Jr. He retired from CARTA Transportation.He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Flippin-Ramsey; two brothers, Rashad and Charles Flippin Jr.; one sister, Vicky Flippin; grandparents, J.T. (Pauline) Murray, Angus and Nicey Flippin.Survivors include his wife, Debora Flippin; children, Mario Beaman, of Chattanooga, LBrone Flippin Jr. of Australia, and Steven Flippin, of Canada; two stepsons, Mario Fulgham, of Chattanooga and Corey (Amanda) Parrish, of Chesapeake, Va.; eight grandchildren; father, Charles Flippin Sr.; two brothers, Andr and Ray Flippin, both of Chattanooga; seven sisters, Mylene Flippin, Delores Lloyd, Agnes Brown, Bettina Flippin, Bessie (Rodney) Jackson, all of Chattanooga, Pauline Flippin-Evans, of Memphis, and Joyce (Morris) Dawson, of Atlanta; mother-in-law, Elect Lady, Pastor JoAnne (Fred) Walker; three sisters-in-law, Cylanthia (Gary) Harris, LeWeyna (Michael) Garth and Lydia (Raymond) Howard; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.The body will lie-in-state today after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Walter Owens as the eulogist. Burial: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
