TRION Judson G. Crowder, 78, passed away Monday evening, Sept. 23, 2013, at his residence following a brief illness.A native of Randolph County, Ala, He was born to the late Jewel Frank and Blanche Moselle Owens Crowder on Feb. 26, 1935. Mr. Crowder was a member of New Hope North Baptist Church and was owner/operator of C&R Trucking Co. and retired from Bronze Trucking. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Crowder and Frankie Crowder.Surviving are wife, Mona Bartlett Crowder; daughters, Rhonda Crowder, of Carrollton, Nikkie Gay, of Lineville, Ala., and Heaven Bartlett Crowder, of Trion; sons, Steven Crowder, of Nigeria, Michael Spicer, of Hephzibah, Ga., and Timothy Bartlett, of Trion; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, from the J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Clark.Interment in White Cemetery.Active Pallbearers, Daniel Crowder, Ricky Elrod, Luke Gay, Larry Bolton, Kenny Crowder and Craig Crowder.
