Margaret Gribble

Margaret "Little Bird" Gribble, 85, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born in Nashville, Tenn. She had a great love for flowers, was an avid Braves fan and was retired from G W Supply. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Loret Yacht Club and Tri-State Military Vehicle Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Meeks Hobbs; and brother, Charles F Hobbs Jr. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James K Gribble; daughter, Sandy Gribble, of Harrison; loving dog "Heidi"; sister-in-law, Edna Hobbs, of San Antonio, Texas; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins from Texas, Utah, Idaho and Tennessee. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Hal Shaw officiating.
