Juanita Cronnon

Juanita W. Cronnon, 91, of East Ridge, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Ms. Juanita was loved by many and known throughout the community for her generosity, servanthood and kindness. Since becoming a Christian in 1951, she faithfully served the church in many positions and leadership roles. She was an active member of the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Cronnon used her gifts and talents to serve others. She was the owner and floral designer of the Blossom Shop and Flowers By Juanita. After retirement from a career of floral design, she continued to spread joy with the gift of flowers to friends, neighbors, the church, the sick and the elderly. Ms. Juanita loved The Lord with her heart, soul and mind and was quick to tell others what a difference He had made in her life. At age 85, Ms. Juanita wrote her lifes story and testimony in a book titled, IVE COME LORD, IVE COME. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Jessie J. Cronnon; and mother, Ida A. Welch; and father, Daniel M. Welch. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. (Ronald) Mitchell; grandson, Danny L. Mitchell; granddaughter, Rhonda S. (Eric) Frye; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Allison, Austin, Kathryn, Logan and Hayden. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
