Robert Partee Jr.

Robert Lacy Partee Jr., 65, rode off to heaven on his Harley, Sunday, June 8, 2014. He was the eldest child of Robert and "Kitty" Partee. Bob graduated from Overton High School in 1967. While attending the University of Memphis in 1968 he met the love of his life, his wife of 45 years, Nancy. No couple was more devoted to each other. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran that knew how to appreciate the simple things in life from a day on the lake to anytime he went for a ride on his Harley. After retiring from Sears he followed his passion, opening a successful Harley-Davidson repair shop, Stroker Cycle, in Harrison, Tenn. Bobs greatest source of pride was his son, Robert, which was even more enhanced with the addition of his wife, Rebecca. He will forever be remembered by all of those that were blessed to be a part of his life. Special thanks to those at Miller Industries for their compassion and support. Bob is survived by his wife Nancy; son, Robert III (Rebecca); sister, Lynn (Bill); additional family members Russell, Kris (Dave), Jamie, Austin and Meaghan (William). The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343. Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.com.
