Mart Eustice

Mart "Eoochie" Eustice, 71, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, after his courageous battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church and Carpenters Union 704. Eoochie was a wonderful father and grandfather. He never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face and loved everyone. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Wilma D. Eustice; mother, Wilma I. Eustice; father, Mart V. Eustice; and sister, Patsy Pardue. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Eustice; sons, Rodney (Brandy) Eustice and Wayne Narrod; daughters, Donna (Bob) Youngblood, April (Jeremy) Lewis, Carol Ingle and Sherry Bledsoe; brothers, Morris (Sheila) Eustice, Horace (Liz) Eustice; sisters, Betty (Fred) Doss, Judy (Cecil) Morgan, 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Kelly and Pastor Wade Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. both today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Arrow Smith and all his nurses.
