PORT ROYAL, Jamaica — Tropical Storm Ernesto brushed past the Caribbean country’s southern coast Sunday, causing heavy rains but few problems, as it took a path expected to carry it by Honduras and across the Yucatan Peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico.
