No name change, because we need to know where they are. ;)

I left the SBC decades ago because of their non-biblical attitudes about war, racism and equality. It is ironic they seek to change their name to cover that heritage that they preach to this day.

If you are not proud of your heritage you should look for one you can be proud to claim as your own. If you claim the SBC, at least stand up and say so.

Name change will do nothing but change the name. It's not the cover of the book but what's inside that counts.

I vote NOT to change the name. I stand for what the SB believe. I believe in calling sin sin and standing up for the bible and what it says. God's word is what counts. We do NOT need to compromise our beliefs. What scares me is what else will be in the name change? What are they trying to let in besides a name?
