People amaze me that they would not pay the toll which would compensate for the gas used to go the alternate routes.

It only takes me 25 minutes to get from the northern part of Harrison to Soddy and I sure don't burn $10 worth of gas to get there and back. Don't forget that you will be paying for gas AND a toll if you travel this bridge. I bet by the time this bridge gets built the toll will be more than $5 too.

A toll road makes sense but a $5 fe is outrageous. It ought to be more like $0.75.

I wouldn't pay it just to save a half-hour...but to save a couple gallons of gas? I definitely would.
