Don't we already have such a unit? We have the DA, judges, Littlefield administration, City Attorney, City Council, Chamber of Commerce, and others that protect one another from prosecution on corruption and malfeasance.

Do we need additional armed stormtroopers to protect these uberfuhrers?

Let's buy them armored black Mercedes (or Volkswagens) to travel through the county, a few dozen SS bodyguards (militarized SWAT)and have our own Leni Riefenstahl at the Arts, Education, and Cultural Propaganda Department film "Triumph of the Swill".

Imagine the great propaganda as Littlefield marches into Apison and Birchwood for "annexation."

Yes, let's protect these VIPs as we all sing "Corruption uber Alles."

Isn't that what the CPD and HCSD supposed to do/be anyway?

Protect and serve ALL?

This survey is funny as all get out and ought to scare the hades out of all politicians. So far 88% of us said NO. Politicians apparently rank right up there with child molesters.

What's next from the stormtroopers? Rushing in to an entertainment venue (Track 29) and censoring a musician from playing a song?

Wait a minute--they just did!

Not all terrorists wear turbans; some wear badges.

If ones for public office, it is expected for one to meet with the public. If one is afraid of the public, then step down and spare us the expense, please.

More inanity from our local politicians fearing the people.

Actually, sandy, all politicians should fear the people. It is the only thing keeping them relatively honest.
