Inappropriate maybe but probably true. It probably does take four women to keep one man happy but as a woman, that works both ways. So if you flip the script.....yep, it's funny!
-- First it tells us the Democrats are upset and hurt over a horribly sexist joke. [No surprise there.]
-- Then it proceeds to tell us the joke!
Only in the TFP.
Incidentally, both my wife and I enjoyed the joke...but then we are not Democrats with tender, easily hurt feelings. Thanks for publishing it, TFP!
Here's a couple more "joke" headlines published in today's TFP; [Where has journalism gone?]
METRO Section, top of the page headline about a slain man found in a car was in a gang...well, surprise, surprise. Other than the occasional innocent bystander caught in a cross-fire [like the poor little girl a while back] who else besides gang members are shot in Chattanooga? And
Business Section, Page C5 lower right side article dealing with black markets. To those of us who lived and served overseas, black markets means something completely different than that meant here. It took my wife and I a while to figure out they didn't mean Answer.com's "A black market or underground economy is a market in goods or services which operates outside the formal one(s) supported by established state power." I guess we aren't racist enough to pick up on what they meant right away. Sorry, TFP.
Democrats often say racist, sexist, and other offensive things. They just rarely get called on it, for once, someone actually noticed. If only they had noticed the "typical white person" comment by one of the other bigots in the party.
It's a joke, goodness let's laugh and worry about the important things.
Paul Smith is a joke.

The real joke here is the Times/Free-Press.
