“We listened to what our patients were telling us,” said Bruce Baldwin, Grandview CEO. “From our new partnership with a new group of emergency room physicians to our renewed focus throughout the hospital on customer service and our pledge to instill community pride, it truly is a new day for patients of Grandview.”

Despite the challenges faced by all hospitals in a trying economic and political climate, Grandview’s focus is and always will be on providing only the best health care and a satisfactory patient experience, Baldwin said.

“What greater responsibility do we have than by providing good quality medical care and exceptional service to our own families and neighbors?” Baldwin said. “This is a commitment we do not take lightly, and our patients should expect no less from us.”

Aside from the spectacular rural view from which the hospital received its name in 1998, it’s the personal care that distinguishes Grandview Medical Center from the larger hospitals.

Grandview offers a wide range of services including imaging, lab services, surgical services, inpatient care, physical therapy and sleep lab with even more services in the planning stages, according to Baldwin. The hospital also offers behavioral and psychiatric services at its Mountainview Treatment Center located on the grounds. Just this month, Grandview held a grand opening for the Monteagle Multispecialty Clinic. The new venture will enable patients “on the mountain” to see specialist physicians without having to drive long distances.

Fully accredited by the Joint Commission for hospital quality, Grandview stands poised to serve residents of the Sequatchie Valley for decades to come. For details on Grandview’s mission and services, visit www.grandviewmedicalcenter. com or call 837-3425.
