Three Black Sheep

Three Black Sheep, a Yarn Shoppe is located on Signal Mountain and is owned and operated by Diana Kessler.

The store began on Long Island, N.Y., but the Kessler family soon decided to move to Signal Mountain. Kessler, along with her two daughters and her husband, wanted to find a better way of life in the south. According to Kessler, Chattanooga has proven to be the perfect fi t for them.

Kessler has brought her love of the fiber arts, fashion and community to Three Black Sheep, a Yarn Shoppe and the Chattanooga area. In one short year the business has grown to require a larger space and will be moving three doors down from its current location.

Later this summer, an e-commerce web site is set to premier, offering products and information right at customers’ fi ngertips. In the coming year, Kessler plans to have a few of the industry’s leading designers visit the shop, as well.

Visit the store or find Kessler on the web to experience fun, shop-sponsored activities, such as Chattanooga’s fi rst-ever Stitch n Pitch with the Lookouts, which was held June 23.

Customers can also enjoy weekly gatherings of Sit n Stitch, which brings people from the local community together to form new friendships.
