Dr. Julie W. Briggs, D.D.S.

Dr. Julie. W. Briggs provides dental care for the whole family on Signal Mountain. “In my practice, you are not just another mouth,” she said.

“We will take excellent care of you and treat you with respect.” Briggs took over the longtime practice of Dr. Jack Currey when he retired in September 2010. She previously worked as an emergency room nurse at Memorial Hospital.

Interacting with and getting to know patients and their families is what Briggs said she enjoys most about her job. “I am very personable and one-on-one,” she said. “I want to know my patients and their families well and be able to take great care of them.”

Over the next fi ve years, Briggs hopes to grow the practice and care for patients of all ages.

“Most people don’t know that we see children,” she said. “My favorite moments usually involve our patients who are kids! We get some great questions from kids in the dental chair.”

Briggs also plans to update the offi ce’s dental equipment and incorporate new technology, beginning with digital radiography.

When away from the offi ce, she loves to read, travel, run, play tennis and spend time at the lake.
