Brody Jewelers
213 Chickamauga Ave Rossville, GA , 706-866-3033
The staff at Brody Jewelers has been an
integral part of local families’ momentous
occasions for seven decades. Just as they are
married to the celebrations of the families who
shop there, their customers are married to their
family – it’s the oldest jewelry store in the area
still owned and operated by the same family,
according to Louis Brody.“We take great pride in knowing that when a customer comes into the store, he or she will be assisted by a Brody,” he said. “Most of the time we get along just fi ne, but sometimes we act like typical brothers and sister and get on each other’s nerves. But we all know the business, and we’re good at what we do.”
He is assisted by his father Ed “Sonny” Brody and his wife Helen, sister Cindy Sirota and her son Brent, and brother Michael Brody.
Louis Brody said his parents are his heroes for their extreme dedication to their family and work. He attributes the store’s longevity to turning that outward and caring about customers and the community at large.
“We want to give back to the communities in Georgia and Tennessee who have been so giving to us,” he said. “We sponsor many events, and we like to donate jewelry to be auctioned off in fundraisers. It’s important to us to help raise money to help assist families on the local level.”
Through personal experiences within his own family, Brody came to appreciate the important work of organizations like the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. In addition to working to contribute to their missions, his company also helps out with March of Dimes, St. Jude’s Children Hospital, United Way, medical associations, local schools and the Arthritis Foundation, as well as the Ronald Mc- Donald House where his wife sits on the board.
