Bio:
Deputy Sports Editor Ron Bush is a Chattanooga native and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate who began working in the sports department of the News-Free Press in November 1979. Among his many duties since then were four years as the afternoon paper's beat writer for the UTC men's basketball team. He became a sports copy editor in 1994 but has continued to write stories on a variety of sports subjects. He is in the Greater Chattanooga Area Sports Hall of Fame.
