A terrible cost

War took a young Marine's legs, but not his heart

Joseph Jones was in his workshed, slathering green paint on a patio bench, one of the odd jobs he takes because the brick-laying business is slow.

Joey Jones’ work in Afghanistan was similar to that of characters in an action-packed blockbuster film or primetime crime show.

Sgt. Joey Jones wasn’t there in person, but supporters couldn’t miss him if they tried.

Tonight a Dalton, Ga. church will host gospel singers to benefit a local wounded Marine.
