The Chattanooga Times Free Press seeks to change the way you think about news. We work to bring you current events to keep you in the know. Leaders in our industry pick the Chattanooga Times Free Press as an awarding winning operation. See how well we did this year according to our readers and our peers.

Joan Garrett received the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism Award.

Our newsroom ranks among the top with our readers and our peers. In 2011, we were honored to receive a list of awards in various competitions:

“Curious” best describes the newsroom of the Times Free Press. We are curious about everything in our area, from news to sports to entertainment to business. And we want to pass what we learn on to our readers.
