Stroud Watson is one of the five most important men in the 20th Century in Chattanooga, period
Ron Littlefield 20 years ago recognized the vision for the riverfront would be greatly improved by saving the Walnut St. Bridge. He with Gene Robert's help flew a group to DC to lay the groundwork for the project funding from the fed. This was the single most significant act in saving the WSB. I know this because I was on the plane.
Trey Stanley had the 700 Block deal figured out, and the deal would have worked in my opinion if the funding agencies had sustained a much better managed control of the funds. Trey Stanley had the 700 Block deal figured out.
