Let's hold off on the commendations. Mr. Driver bought this property in 2006 and has done nothing to stabilize it. His plans for developing condos and commercial spaces have come to nothing and he has let the place just rot, turning into an eyesore sitting right across the street from one of the top attractions in Chattanooga. Now the city is paying for a crew to do demolition and he wants the Lyndhurst Foundation to pay to patch together what is left. It doesn't sound like he has any sort of plan beyond "build condos". Why hasn't he invested in stabilizing or improving this building?

Michele Bachmann's staff knew back in June that she does not and never has intended to hire staffers in Florida or California next year. She's not any more a serious Presidential candidate than I am.

Maybe if the government would cut taxes for rich people even more they would go back to driving their Hummers across town to have someone sell them a luxury item at retail plus twenty percent in person.

Or businesses could adapt to the realities of life in 2011 and admit that guilt is not a business model. Innovate or die. Small businesses have successfully made the transition to the internet age so it can be done, it is just a matter of who can understand the changes work with them instead of against them.

Rickaroo,I guess you could blame the abuse by the day traders on Al Gore for "inventing the internet".

Wow, these people never get any new material at all. It's all repetitive and predictable.

Somehow Obama transported himself back to 2000 and sabotaged the economy because he hates America. Just like George Soros went back in time and planted all that fake evidence that shows Obama was born in Hawaii.

I ain't got no damn proof but I'll swear to it on the internet just the same.

Republithugs like to take any little stupid thing like this that happens and use it to smear Democrats from coast to coast. Somebody wants you to believe that a national political party can be blamed for the actions of drunk drunk Lenoir City hillbilly. Somebody must think you are just as stupid and gullible as they are.

Herman Cain wants to raise middle class taxes and cut taxes for millionaires to nothing. Why do people give him and his hair-brained plans any attention?
