You missed this one Clay... You have a wrong understanding of libertarian or anarchists.

Doesn't surprise me Israel's military violence, well fed over decades by the US military apparatus and international policy. However, it does make me sad that the Obama government cannot come out with a stronger statement. Will Obama perpetuate the double-standard policy in the US international relations?

Gracias Bennett, "English only" is just another expression of ignorance and bigotry.

Only racists can say that a female judge from Puerto Rico will be biased in her opinions. Being white and male has not shown to be the best option so far.

This is not a matter of personal opinions. The issue is not if we like President Zelaya or not, the issue here is that he was elected by the people and his democratic period in government was abruptly interrupted by the military and the right wing in Congress. So, for those that seem to agree with the military coup: are you really with democracy?

My take on this one: why only a few countries in the world are allowed to build missiles? Many would reply: because they have to be responsible enough not to use them as atomic bomb carriers against other countries... However, a small reminder. There is only one country in the history of the world that has used nuclear weapons against humanity, and that is the United States of America. In my view, this is the country that should not be allowed to have missiles.

Clay, you are really incredibly good. You should be published in many countries, in the best journals. I don't see this high quality too often.

When an individual or a family gets into bankruptcy because their jobs have been cut, no government (local, state or federal) comes to help. Families have to sell their homes and belongings and start living in poverty. When huge companies with executives earning millions and owning fancy cars and beach mansions get into bankruptcy because of speculation and mismanagement, government comes to rescue so they can continue keeping their high salaries, private planes and luxurious vacations. It is disgusting.

What we need is the Tobin tax, which means taxing with 0,01 % all Wall Street speculative transactions, and benefit the poor with those taxes.

So true, so many deaths caused by greed and in violation of all international conventions. It would be a shame if another republican is elected as president of the US, the country is falling in pieces and so isolated internationally that has no friends, only accomplices in murder.
