Thanks for sharing midnitewatchman. There would only be two reasons the city council and mayor would hire a PR firm,

1) The morons believe that the public does not read the TFP and other news sources to understand the sales tax agreement.

2) They want to hire their old buddy Waterhouse, the Recycle Racoon guy that East Ridge fired.

I recently called the City about my stormwater bill, and the city employee had the nerve to state, "public angst about the fee is behind us, like all news stories, the concerns fade and so should yours." That reflects the attitude of Littlefield and the Council, they don't what we think.

Thank Goodness, Mayor Coppinger and common sense. Mayor please help the citizens of Chattanoooga. We are trapped in the land of stupid, with Ron Littlefield and his sheep. The City has a full time pr spokesperson, Beeland, yep that has helped alot. No, we have to spend our hard earned tax dollars on hiring someone to speak for our Council members.

I am for term limits, Robinson, Rico, Benson are not good steward of public money. It is wrong every day of the week, to force tax dollars from working class families to pay for art pursuits. These 3 have been on an art spending spree each year, $250,000 Allied Arts, 45,000 Public Art Director, 179,000 Crutchfield and assistant art waste, pottery studio,...this is BS spending of hard earned property tax dollars.and it goes on and on. These 3 gotta go.

The Chattanooga Organized for Action is that silly group that forgot to get date column filled out on by the signatures on the recall petition. Almost all of the verifiable signatures came from our local Tea party. I attended a Tea party meeting where this group was, and I assure you that only have about 20 members at best. To portray this group of kids as a large grass roots organization is fiction.

Salsa, right on target. The City Attorney is a perfect match for Littlefield, both equally incompetent.

I am no longer in favor of our City taxpayer dollars going to the Zoo, unless they find a professional zoo manager. While the Friends of the Zoo think they are entitled our out taxpayer dollars for this venture, they are not. Based upon the USDA report. I am in favor of major changes at this facility. I do not care what Ms. Long thinks or her excuses, she should not be running the zoo and charged with the well being of these animals.

Chattanooga has regressed with Littlefield, and lost all of the forward momentum from riding the coat tails of Mayor Corker. Littlefield's cronies are equally as incompetent, mostly political hacks, like Crutchfield, Paul Page, Davy Crock, Al Chapmanā€¦. Littlefield's years as mayor will leave a legacy of wasted time, money, and no progress. Our Mayor is corrupt, and time will tell of the true story will be told on Rev. Overstreet, and the TN Par gang.

Why is Staff Reporter listed, and not the reporter that was hung up on?

The Chattanooga Zoo obviously needs alot more oversight and management In this case, animals are not being fed. I think that is a huge problem and show lack of management. They should be ashamed.

Inconsistent, for sure. Littlefield is a liar, moving the Judges is unconsolidating the courts. Littlefield priased the one stop shop Justice Center, when the City contributed $4 million in tax money to have the city courts housed in the Center. The public is starting to wake up and see the inconsistency and lies of the Worse Mayor Ever. Problem is our City Council is sheepish and mostly followers, and allows the Mayor to do as he pleases. In the meantime, I think the public will not wait for the end of the Littlefields term. Another recall will occur, because the public absolutely despises this Mayor and his cronies.
