I for one support the protestors. If you spend some time researching the financial meltdown, subsequent bank bailouts, rubber stamping mortgage foreclosures, and the banks going from collapse to pay back in less then 2 years and are not concerned then you are blind.
Look at history, the vietnam war was protested and subsequently influenced policy and is was done by the young people (or as mentioned by a previous commentator as those "smoking too much weed"). Those graduating from college and not able to find jobs with living wages, no insurance and see the scam called Wall Street screwing everyone. Good for them!
Oh !!! I forgot one more thing!
What were the parents thinking? I assume the kids have parents? If one of those kids is mine - he is out.
It would be interesting to know if there was any discussion amongst the parents and the coach!
Dr McCullough seems like a very honorable man to me. It will be interesting to hear more details and how he handles the incident.
sounds more like a coach issue then the kids! Hey, rules are rules and laws are laws. The kids got cited and the coach knew about it.
Coach Price couldn't afford to let a history making season slip through his fingers, it might cost him a potential college coaching position!
SM has now had a drug pushing math teacher (excuse me, actually wasn't even a certified teacher!) and now looks to have a coach who can't follow through punishing his own players !
Boy am I proud to live on the mountain!
Boy is TN lucky to have Randy Moss!
Who wants to take bets on how long before he shoots his mouth off, rips the coaches, THE FOOD served after a game? I travel to MN frequently and the folks there say good riddance. It wasn't the fans in MN who wanted him back, it was Brett Farve and Brad Childress. It just didn't take long for him to self destruct.
Now there are two emotional adolescents on the Titans - Vince Young and Randy Moss. Maybe they can pout and pitch tantrums together.
He may be a great athlete but he is one miserable human being regardless of what the article says.
I am disappointed in the Titans
What is wrong here??!??!!!.
The woman had to spend 500K to defend herself and prove her innocense, lose her children for two years, not to mention the stress, anxiety, and the years it has taken away from her, and she it still having to fight!
Everything I heard about this case stunk from the beginning. A judge who was her ex husbands divorce attorney, poorly gathered evidence, over zealous prosecutors and she still is fighting.
What caps it off is the prosecutors claim that the media bias affected their case! The jurors said, "they didn't understand how the case even got to court". The jury has spoken now things should be returned that were taken from her.
I am not a litigous person but I am all for her suing for every penny she can get.
Has anyone ever seen a dog play tug of war with a rope? The car was the rope and all the cop did was make the dog think it was fun by going back and forth.
Frankly, I think it is somewhat humorus!
Not much the Judge could do! The law is the law folks. It works well some times but not all the time. They don't have a magic ball.
The bigger issue isn't whether the judge screwed up but how the community/city should deal with the gang activity. It that wasn't an issue there may have been two less dead people in that neighborhood.
Do you support the "Occupy" protests?

Madoff son found dead in NYC apartment
Seems as though Bernard Madoff will now have to endure some personal pain for the greed that motivated him to hurt so many other people

Infant mortality agency in jeopardy
This is a wonderful program! In our medically advanced society it is sad that we have such a high mortality rate. Good work RESTART
