I completely agree with AstorPig. Points right on. Thank goodness all of the people of Walker County are not so stupid to believe what Heiskel was trying to pull over on them. Can there be any more corruption than that in Heiskel's county management? Who else would hire a convicted criminal as her inhouse legal cousel. Don Oliver and his cronie "financial advisor" were set to make a ton of money by pushing this bond deal on the people of Walker county. Now Oliver has manipulated his way to be legal counsel for struggling Hutcheson Medical Center stacked the hospital board with Heiskel supporters and is trying to pull the same shenanigans with his old buddy Ed the financial advisor, who by the way, who was also convicted of indecent exposure in the Atlanta airport.(check out his history with a Google search of him from the 'Atlanta Constitution'. Why does Heiskel go along with this and surround herself with such coniving, unscrupulous, unethical people. As my momma used to say, you sleep with dogs, you are going to get fleas. Isn't it time for the people of Walker county to wake up and kick these dogs out of office, along with Boss Hoggette, and fumigate the county offices to get rid of these pests?

Well now Mr. Foster can take his Pulitzer and pull up his pants and move on. My question is why did it take so long for Jason Taylor to allow his arrogant, caustic, character smearing style of reporting to go on along as he did? I cancelled my subscription after being the recipient of one of his smear campaigns that was based on unsubstaniated rumors, as facts were not important to Foster or his reporters, only creating eye catching inunedo headlines and stretching of the truth to create controversy. The tone of the paper started changing when Whiz Kid Jason Taylor was hired and was cappped by his hiring of Foster. Under the guise of wanting to be 'the community's paper' they have turned it into the Chattanooga Regional Enquirer. CTFP is just another example of the problems with media reporting today. Truth is not important, selling papers is the only motive, and if you are the victim of their rant, your name is forever smeared when pulled up on the internet, but they take their paychecks, drive their BMWs home and hang their awards on their wall. Good by and good ridence Mr. Foster. Is Taylor next?
