When I lived in Chattanooga we had our power bill on the monthly payment plan. It was wonderful, because you knew how much your bill was going to be each month. We also had our natural gas bill under the same type of plan. It made budgeting easier, and I sure hate to hear they are going to stop the program.
Zane Boyd is my grandson. He is a very special young man. He is always thinking of others. I hope and pray that he continues down this path as he grows into a man. I am proud of him.
As a mom of a former Army reserve member who served our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom, I want to say "Thank YOU" to each and every past and present veteran. It makes no difference if you served during war time or not, just the sacrifice you made being away from your family is enough to say thanks. I am proud to be an American and proud of our military members and their families.
Two tractor trailer wrecks in three days at the same interchange area...When do you think they will take the signs posted as true? It plainly states 50 miles per hour or possible tip over for large trucks...Glad no one was hurt, but it sure makes for a long commute for some folks...Makes a good plea for a separate freeway system for big rigs.
