The military leadership is hostile towards Christianity, primarily because of the support for homosexuals, but also because of the growing support of activist atheist organizations. This will affect recruitment and retention. Draft able males beware.

Roe v Wade is about the right to kill unborn children. The "privacy" line is an excuse. The "separation of church and state" line is a gross distortion of the meaning from a letter, and not in the Constitution. The convenience killing of unborn innocent children is a shameful period of our history. I do not have to adopt to have a just claim to the immorality of such an act.

My paper started its death spiral when it fired the cartoonist Ariell. This paper just jumped the shark by firing its editorial writer. Here is a hint.....you can't survive on liberal readers alone and a comment section populated by mostly liberal classless insults will not attract readers. Keep your act clean, libbies, because this article along with the news the writer was fired has gone viral. Current speculation on the internet is the Obama Administration forced it. True or not, he seems to be getting the blame.

Mr. Bodine can't understand why anyone would fight Obamacare and why he can't have meaningful discussions with his friends. Let me help him out. First, sir, you may have trouble debating policies with your "tea party friends" because you spout the standard liberal talking points rather than actual facts about the validity of the law (Fox News talking points, the Koch brothers). Don't look now but Congress is working a bill to eliminate the "death panels" you seem to think don't exist ... and must they actually name them "death panels" for you to believe they will do what we fear they will do?

Another difficulty you may have is couching the argument based on wants rather than legality....on wants rather than the freedom we prefer to enjoy.

Perhaps you should argue the Constitutionality of the law, the practicality of it based on the experiences of other nations wallowing in debt from their attempt to implement compassion through the heavy hand of tyranny, or even whether the government is representing us when it passes a law the majority did not want passed.

So,we have another person who believes no amount of illegal weapons constitutes a "stockpile." I guess he was sleeping when the Democrats said the weapons were there, when weapons were found and the Democrats said those weren't the ones we were looking for, and when the post-war inspectors discovered Saddam would have reconstituted his programs within months after the sanctions were lifted. One key al Qaeda leader left standing and he thinks we got nothing. This "Bush lied" lie is getting old, especially since we have put so many pieces together.

A few questions: 1. What would have happened to the people who deposited their money in these banks? 2. If you hate bailouts that much, please don't put your savings in an institution that has that little FDIC sticker in the window. Do you know what that means and what people expect when they see it? 3. Why did the banks need a bailout? Could it be the government forced them to lend money to people who wouldn't pay back their loans? And how does being a student who doesn't want to pay back his education loan contribute to the problem? 4. Is having a country run by the Soros crowd and its peers in the unions better? Aren't you using arguments that resemble those the communists have used time and again? 5. Isn't it a certain arrogance that tells you to presume you speak for 99% of the country?

Obama is doing nothing to prop up those social programs ... Reid tabled the House plans without debate ... even though appropriations bills must originate in the House ... then they accuse the Republicans of not compromising (euphemism for not letting Democrats have their way).

The hobbits were the good guys...the only one with the strength of character to get it done.

We are broke. Fix this in a controlled fashion now or watch it collapse. There aren't enough "rich" or military $ to save you. The entitlement class will be hurt the worst.

The Tea Party finally got the keys to the car...and they have a full tank of gas. Rather than predicting the demise of the Tea Party, Dems better start fearing the demise of their own party. Obama can't be reelected with the economy in the tank and his policies will not change it. If the Dems don't replace him in the primary, then he could be impeached when all the details of "fast and furious" become known. It is already uglier than Watergate and Iran-Contra.

Either Democrats in TN and SC think alike or the Dem Party is sending out talking points for Letters to the Editor writers. They said almost the exact same thing in a SC paper.
